Lakemont Pines
Lakemont Pines is a popular subdivision with 550 residential lots and located on the west side of Arnold. Due to the size and popularity of the development, the inventory of homes for sale is always low.
Beautiful Tanner Lake is located at the heart of the subdivision with cabins located on both sides. Tanner Lake was named after its creators: Irvin, Norval and Norman Tanner who purchased the property in 1948. In 1960, they began construction on the 14-acre lake. The Tanners then sold the lake and the lodge to a developer who named it Lakemont Pines.
Current day, the lake remains popular for both full time residents and second homeowners. The lake and clubhouse offer amenities such as a beach, playground with snack bar, monthly game nights, movie nights, weekly sandcastles, ice cream socials, barbecues, and a tug-a-war contest. There are two trail heads leading to the Arnold Rim Trail for miles of hiking and horseback riding.
